Quantum Measurement Principle
The CO₂ sensor uses photonic crystals with CdSe/ZnS quantum dots: gas molecules alter optical absorption at a specific wavelength, detected by a laser reader. Sensitivity: 5 ppm (standard NDIR sensors: 30–50 ppm). Response time: 0.5 s.
The VOC sensor based on graphene quantum dots detects formaldehyde, benzene and toluene at 1 ppb. Classical semiconductor sensors threshold at 50–100 ppb. The PM2.5 sensor with an optical trap counts individual particles from 0.3 µm — an order of magnitude more accurate than laser scattering modules.
