Stone has always been cold and unchanging. We added thermochromic pigments to the artificial stone (acrylic) formula. Now the surface reacts to heat. Placing a hand on a black reception desk causes a blue or pink spot to bloom under the palm, fading in a minute. This turns waiting into a game. The desk becomes an indicator of the office 'temperature' in both literal and figurative senses.
Magic of Touch
Pigments are tuned to 31°C (skin heat). At rest, the material looks like regular granite or onyx. But touch it, and the molecular structure changes, reflecting a different light spectrum. This creates ephemeral 'graffiti' drawn by guests themselves. In meeting rooms, tables made of such material show where people sat and how long the heated debate lasted.
Climate Indicator
Wall-Thermometer
We use thermochromic panels for wall cladding. If the AC runs too hard, the wall darkens (or lightens, depending on setting). It's an intuitive building interface. Guests immediately see comfort zones. Areas near a fireplace visual 'glow,' reinforcing the psychological feeling of warmth.
