Do kids fear doctors? Only if the clinic looks like a prison. New pediatrics in 2026 looks like a children's museum. We remove white (hospital association), add interactive panels, and design reception at child eye level. The administrator can squat to talk to the child face-to-face. This is empathy architecture.
Gamified Waiting
The lobby is a play zone. Interactive projection floors ('lava', 'hopscotch', jumping lights). Walls with touch puzzles and magnetic figures. The reception desk is not a barrier but a creativity table where kids can draw with markers on a special surface while parents fill out documents.
Color and Characters
Friendly Palette
No sterile white. We use cheerful but not screaming tones: mint, peach, lavender. Walls feature friendly clinic mascots (cartoon bears, robot doctors). Paw print navigation leads to the right office. The child isn't going to an appointment; they're embarking on an adventure.
