"Silence as a Service"
The ultimate expression of minimalist luxury. For Aman, we created a desk that is essentially a floating slab of reclaimed ancient temple wood. The structure uses hidden magnets to secure concierge tablets, keeping the surface completely clear of technology. This project is about the luxury of silence, space, and tactile history.
"Spec: Reclaimed teak, neodymium magnets, hidden induction chargers under wood, carbon-fiber subframe for extreme thinness."

Zero-visible-tech magnetic surfaces. Est. $45,000.

The third concept embodies the philosophy of emptiness (ku). Reception desk made of a single slab of Japanese mizunara oak with natural texture. Minimal processing preserving natural cracks and knots. Countertop 80mm thick with wabi-sabi aesthetics. Hidden technology. Dimensions: 4000×800×1100 mm. Cost — from $58,000.

The fourth concept is inspired by Japanese rock gardens. Desk made of black Absolute Black granite with white quartz veins imitating raked sand. Mizunara oak base. Rice paper panels for soft lighting. Hidden storage for tea ceremony. Dimensions: 4200×850×1120 mm. Cost — from $62,000.

Absolute zero visible technology on the desk surface.
Each desk is crafted from wood with documented history.
Carbon subframe allows for giant spans without supports.

Yes, built into several 'sweet spots' marked by faint etchings.
This wood has already lasted 200 years; our treatment adds 50 more.
