Food is becoming technology. HQs of companies growing lettuce in skyscrapers require special design. Here, the lobby is a harvest showcase. We explore 'Agritech' style: transparent pipes with nutrient solution, pink phyto-light (or white Full Spectrum), and the scent of fresh greens. The reception desk turns into a salad bar where the guest is treated to arugula picked right in front of them.
Process Transparency
The main principle is showing the technology. We install a working hydroponic unit behind the administrator. Plant roots are visible through glass, nutrient mist (aeroponics) swirls in pipes. It's a mesmerizing sight proving product purity. Furniture is made of laboratory glass and recycled plastic, emphasizing sterility and ecology.
Phyto-Light as Art
Nature's Pink Neon
Plants need a specific spectrum (blue + red). This 'magenta' light has become the trademark of agro-startups. We use it as accent lighting. Alternatively, in the evening, the vertical farm building glows from within with a futuristic purple fire. In the lobby, we balance it with warm white light at eye level so faces don't look unnatural.
