When a robot operates on you, you want to believe in its infallibility. The interior of a robotic surgery clinic must broadcast precision. We use 'Clean Tech' aesthetics: polished stainless steel, frameless glazing, and perfect joints. The lobby here is a showroom where the main exhibit is the surgeon robot itself (Da Vinci Xi or its successors), standing behind glass as a symbol of technological superiority.
Technology Transparency
We make operating rooms transparent to the waiting area (with dimming capability). Relatives can watch the robot work through smart glass. This removes the fear of the unknown. The reception desk is made of satin metal with laser-engraved logo. It looks like a part of an aircraft or spaceship.
Surgical Light
Shadowless Illumination
Lobby light is bright, cold (4000K), and uniform. It shouldn't blind but must show surface cleanliness perfectly. We use linear fixtures recessed into ceiling and walls in a geometric grid. This creates a sense of order and control.
